M.I.R.R 05 - Introduction

Arriving at Iceland - the first destination for the M.I.R.R. 05 tour. An amazing place exceeding all expectations both from a tourist perspective and when it comes to the incredible hospitality we've been receiveing.
As someone said: The trip to Iceland, from leaving Oslo until we were settled in a nice apartment in downtown Reykjavik has been a real breeze. This is how all tours should start. Our Icelandic hosts have really put a great effort into making our stay here both comfortable and rewarding.

The first gig was held at Hellirinn, a youth club in an industrial area outside of Reykjavik. It was closely followed by a visit to the opposite side of Iceland - to the city of Akureyri, and club Sjallin. We ended the stay back in Reykjavik and Gaukurinn on Saturday, which led to hurried partings since we unloaded from stage straight into the airport taxi.
